tw for discussions of nsfw of minors

ao3, otherwise known as archive of our own is… a website. i have personal beef with this website for various reasons.

the biggest of which is that it allows nsfw of real life children. “how is this legal?” you may be asking. i have no fucking idea. its presented with the excuse that its just “a character the actor (who is under 18) plays!” the character? attached to a child’s face and name? youre insane.

however, there is literally no good alternative to ao3. despite my gripes with the moral compass of those who run the site, the tagging system is comprehensive and keeps me sane. you can mute the things you dont want to see and pretend the abhorrent shit that gets put on there doesnt exist.

unless you want to crawl back to fanfiction.net or wattpad, ao3 is your best and only bet. so, i keep uploading there despite thinking that the moderators of that site should probably be investigated for the things they allow. and no, im not talking about the pro/anti shit, im talking about the literal nsfw of children.

this is a short one, but its been bugging me forever and i want to complain.
