HISTORY

Lucius was "born" as a clone of Colress that he made when he was, like, 20 and impulsive. He didn't expect his clone to survive long or to be successful, just like all known cloning attempts beforehand. Somehow, (un)luckily for him, Lucius turned out just fine. At the time, he was calling his little experiment "Three" as a nickname, but it stuck, and this poor kid ended up being actually named Three. Three was then dragged around several regions, from Hoenn to Kalos to Unova to Alola. He had a few years of relative stability in Unova, with Colress being recruited to Plasma, but that was not meant to last, and he ended up in Alola at around 12. HIs time in Alola was utterly miserable for him. It was too hot, too humid, he didn't like anyone there, and nobody there liked him, either. He was old enough to grasp that his living situation was anything but normal and began to resent Colress.

Colress had enough of his teenage angst phase and avoidance of him, so he shipped him off to the Blueberry Academy with the hopes of straightening him out a bit. Somehow, this actually mostly worked. It took a while to adjust to, but he ended up making friends and settling in, eventually becoming a member of the League Club as an Elite Four member.

Terrified of leaving behind the only stability he's ever had in his life, Lucius decided to start ditching class and repeating years like his friend Drayton was. This worked like a charm for a year or two, only for Kieran to abruptly have his joker arc, mow through the entire League, and kick Lucius out in the process. Lucius was devastated by this- sure, he was still in the academy and could still interact with his friends, but not being around them nearly as often and losing his spot in the world was a massive gut punch to him. He became extremely dejected and depressed, holed himself up in his room for a month or so, and was only forcibly dragged back into the world by a concerned Lacey, Amarys and Drayton.

He's still not having a good time a few weeks later, but he's doing a little better at least. Just a little.

TRIVIA

• Yes, the sleeves are meant to look like Miku
• His eyes are the exact same shape as Colress'
• His name, Three, refers to how he was the third attempt Colress had ever made at cloning.
• His birthday, July 5, is the same as Dolly the sheep's.
• Ferroseed was his first ever Pokemon, which was perhaps not a very good choice to give to a child. It's accidentally impaled him on its spikes more times than either of them can count.
